George Cuthbertson
1929 - October 3, 2017
George was born in Brantford, Ontario and passed away on October 3rd at home in Toronto. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years and devoted best friend, Helen (née Donaldson), and children Michael (Roberta Moffat), Jill (Scott Childs), and JohnKelly (Ellen Penner) and grandchildren Sarah, Katrina, Heather, Samuel Cuthbertson and Zac Childs. He is predeceased by his parents Elma Charlotte Ferguson and Allan Edward Cuthbertson and his brother Frederick Hugh Cuthbertson. Distinguished yachtsman. One of the good guys. At George's request there will be a private service for family at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel in Toronto. His final resting place will be Park Lawn Cemetery in Toronto. For those who wish, donations in memory of George can be made to Homes First Foundation, 9 Shuter Street, 2nd floor, Toronto, M5B 2K6 or The Salvation Army, 2 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario M4H 1P4
